Speaking after his team’s 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig, Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann admitted that “both teams could have won”.

Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has given his thoughts on his team’s 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig on Saturday night.

“It was a very interesting match. Both teams could have won today,” Nagelsmann said in a post-match interview.

“We did a lot of good things, but we played forward too fast in some parts, with a lot of risky passes.

“Leipzig lost a bit of power from the 70th minute. Overall, an important and enjoyable win for us.”

Nagelsmann’s side are nine points ahead of Borussia Dortmund ahead of the Die Schwarzgelben match against Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow.
